🐾 Sometimes the Best Medicine is a Little Extra Love

A veterinary clinic can be a scary place when you’re little (or even when you’re not so little!). New smells, unfamiliar sounds, and surgery can make for a pretty big day.

That’s when cuddles become part of the job description. 🥰

Before surgery, after surgery, or anytime one of our patients needs a little extra reassurance, our team is always happy to provide a warm blanket, a comforting lap, some gentle snuggles…and maybe a kiss or two. 🐶🐱💕

When you leave your pet with us at Critters Without Litters, rest assured they aren’t just another patient on the surgery schedule. We do everything we can to make their experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible while providing them with the care they need.

And judging by these photos, our staff doesn’t exactly mind the extra cuddle duty. 😂❤️

🐾💕 WARNING: EXTREME KITTEN CUTENESS AHEAD! 💕🐾

Yesterday was a PURR-fectly adorable surgery day at Critters Without Litters! 🐱❤️

We welcomed 20 cats and kittens from CPR Second Chance Rescue, who traveled all the way from Ukiah to visit us! Our clinic was overflowing with tiny paws, sweet little faces, and enough kitten cuteness to make our hearts melt! 🥹🐾

These precious babies received their spay/neuter surgeries, flea treatments, and vaccinations, helping them get one step closer to healthy, happy lives and their forever homes! 🏡💕

And can we PLEASE talk about those adorable POCKET KITTENS?! 😍 Apparently, our staff's scrub pockets are the perfect size for a little kitten snuggle! We may need to add "professional kitten cuddler" to our job descriptions! 😂❤️

Days like yesterday remind us why we do what we do. We're so grateful for our partnership with CPR Second Chance Rescue and the incredible work they do for animals in need. When rescues and veterinary clinics work together, we can make an even bigger difference for the animals in our communities.

20 cats and kittens. One amazing partnership. So many little lives changed! 🐾

Thank you, CPR Second Chance Rescue, for trusting us with your precious babies. We loved every single one of them (and may have wanted to sneak a few home in our pockets! 🤭).

🐾💕 LOOK AT THIS SWEET GIRL! 💕🐾

This adorable little lady came to Critters Without Litters for her spay, which means one thing is certain — there will be no litters in her future! 🎉

And as you can see, baby girl was definitely a fan of the treats after surgery. 😻 Nothing like a little Churu to make recovery better!

Kitten season is still in full swing, and our Mama & Kitten Special has been extended through October — but October appointments are filling up and we only have limited spaces left!

🐱 Mama: $75
🐾 Kittens: $25 each
Kittens must be 12–16 weeks old in October, and Mama must come in with her kittens to qualify for the special. Appointments must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Every mama we spay and every kitten we fix helps prevent another generation of unwanted litters. ❤️
