Fortuna Sunrise Rotarians and families at work this weekend at the Walker School Family Garden. This was Past President Steve Garrison’s district grant project in 2023 and still going strong today growing various fruits and vegetables for local families.

Our club recently participated with members of the Fortuna High School Interact Club and the Creeks Club in cleaning up areas of Rohner Park. This project directly ties in with two of Rotary’s Areas of Focus (Supporting the Environment and Sanitation). Thank you to these high school clubs for their great work around our community, it’s much appreciated!

Fortuna Sunrise Rotary members recently read Dr. Seuss books to students at local Eel River Valley elementary schools to promote one of Rotary’s main areas of focus, Literacy.

The Fortuna Sunrise club recently teamed up with the Fortuna High Interact Club to host Purple Pinky day at local Eel River Valley schools in an effort to raise funds and awareness towards Rotary’s commitment to eradicate Polio.

Our club took a tour of the Eel River Brewery this week and also had the opportunity to present a donation to the College of the Redwoods football team in appreciation of their assistance at our Seafood Boil fundraiser in January. Thanks team!!

What a night! 🔥🦀 The Seafood Boil 2026 on January 24th was packed with flavor, fellowship, and purpose.

This annual fundraiser supports the many impactful programs of the Rotary Club of Fortuna Sunrise throughout the year — and thanks to our amazing community, it was a huge success.

The Seafood Boil 2026 on January 24th was one for the books! 🦐🦀

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Fortuna Sunrise, this annual fundraiser brought together incredible food, great company, and a shared commitment to supporting the many programs Rotary invests in throughout the year — from youth initiatives to local and global service projects.
