On behalf of the Fort Worth Abroad Board of Directors, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for the Fort Worth Abroad Annual Dinner at Esperanzas on August 5!
What an incredible evening of community, connection, and celebrating the importance of international experiences and global engagement set to the sweet tones of Songbird Jones.
A very special thank you to Provost Floyd Wormley Jr. for joining us for an engaging and inspiring fireside chat. We are grateful for your time, leadership, and thoughtful conversation about the importance of connecting our community to the world.
We were also incredibly proud to welcome Fort Worth Abroad alumnus Tal Feldman as our Alumni Keynote Speaker. Tal’s remarkable journey is an inspiring example of the impact of global experiences. From making his mark in the U.S. through his work in AI and being featured in The New York Times, to receiving his Masters in China, and now continuing his work at Harvard Law, Tal exemplifies the global perspective and leadership we hope to foster through Fort Worth Abroad.
Tal, thank you for returning to our community and sharing your story with us. We are so proud to call you one of our alumni!
And a huge thank you to Carlo Capua for keeping the evening moving as our announcer and MC throughout the night! Carlo brought incredible energy to the room, helped make the evening so much fun, and expertly led our paddle raise fundraiser.
