Brothers and Sisters,

We’ve just added a special guest for the event: Everson Walls, four-time Pro Bowl cornerback, Super Bowl XXV champion, NFL Players Association, and former Dallas Cowboys star. Everson Walls is attending the rally and will help us celebrate the Cowboys with our members and their families.

Join your District 776 family on Sunday, Oct. 4, at your union hall for the Boots, Jeans, and Jerseys Working Families Watch Party as the Dallas Cowboys take on the Houston Texans.

This year, we have something special to celebrate: IAM member and State Sen. Taylor Rehmet. Taylor is a U.S. Air Force veteran, president of both IAM Local 776B and the Texas IAM State Council, and a mechanic at Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth. He ran a common-sense campaign that targeted the priorities of working families rather than touting culture-war politics. Now, as the first rank-and-file union member to ever serve in the Texas State Senate, he’ll be fighting in Austin for a Texas we can all afford.

He will be joined by IAM International President Brian Bryant, IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett (District 776), District 776 Assistant Directing Business Representative and Chief of Staff Cory Bennett, Katie O’Brien Duzan, candidate for Texas House District 94, and former Dallas Cowboys cornerback and four-time Pro Bowler Everson Walls.

Bring the whole family. We’ll have:
The game on a huge screen
Barbecue for everyone
A 3-lane sports inflatable with soccer, football, and baseball challenges
Axe throwing
Archery hoverball

Wear your boots, your jeans, and your favorite jersey.

✊ TEXAS UNION WIN: Workers at Ashland Specialty Chemicals ratified a new contract with wage increases, limited incidental craft work, and increased vacation days!

While they didn't win every fight at that table — members won something no contract can put a price on: trust, unity, and a brotherhood forged on that picket line.

That’s the union difference.
