Chrome Cash is headed to the 2026 NRHA European Derby! 🇫🇷

From October 28–November 1, APHA-registered horses will have the opportunity to compete for $8,000 in added Chrome Cash at Equita Lyon in Lyon, France.

No qualification is required, and Chrome Cash entries will be accepted until the day before competition. Don't miss your chance to compete for a share of the added money!

Big news for aspiring APHA International judges. 🌏

Judge applicant testing is coming to the 2027 European Show Seminar, January 22–24 in Sitges, Spain.

For the first time at the European seminar, aspiring APHA International judges can complete both their required educational seminar and applicant testing at one event. The seminar is presented in partnership with AQHA, NRHA, NRCHA and NSBA under this year’s theme, “Stronger Together.”

Sweden takes the gold at the 2026 APHA Youth World Games! 🇸🇪

Team Sweden’s Ellen Berndtsson, Märta Broberg and Alma Hultstrand combined for 34 points to capture the 2026 APHA Youth World Games team championship in Kreuth, Germany. Alma helped bookend the competition with wins in ranch riding and showmanship, while Ellen added reserve honors in horsemanship.

Team Germany earned reserve honors with 29 points, followed closely by Team USA with 28 points for bronze.

The Youth World Games brought together exhibitors from 10 countries for two days of international competition, camaraderie and Paint Horses.

These showgirls showed up and showed out to take home the gold at the APHA Youth World Games! 🥇

Congratulations to Belgium’s Nissa Claesen, who claimed the horsemanship title aboard Whip Cream Machine, and Sweden’s Alma Hultstrand, who added another gold with a win in showmanship aboard Firstsensationalhint!

The results for the 2026 APHA Youth World Games are in! 🎉

Congratulations to Team Sweden, our 2026 Youth World Games champions! Team Germany earned reserve honors, while Team USA rounded out with bronze.

Individual champions included:
🇸🇪 Ranch Riding: Alma Hultstrand, Sweden, with SQ Justified
🇺🇸 Hunt-Seat Equitation: Marley Ann Smith, USA, with CBS Mechanical Deer
🇧🇪 Horsemanship: Nissa Claesen, Belgium, with Whip Cream Machine
🇸🇪 Showmanship: Alma Hultstrand, Sweden, with Firstsensationalhint

Congratulations to all the teams and exhibitors who proudly represented their countries at this year’s Youth World Games in Kreuth, Germany, and thank you to the supporters and horse owners whose contributions helped make the event possible!

Two events down, two to go at the APHA Youth World Games! 🌎
