For the past couple of years, I’ve made it a rhythm to step away from the noise and get out into God’s creation — to be challenged, to embrace adventure — and every time, it turns into stories you’re still telling long after the trip is over.

MEN’S RIVER ADVENTURE | May 16–17 (Sat–Sun)

May 16–17 we’re stepping away from the business of life and heading to the Brazos River — “Brazos” meaning “arms of God.”

For two days we’ll paddle 10 miles (split over two days), primitive camp along the riverbank, fish the waters, and gather around the fire under the stars.

And yes — we’re planning a catch-and-cook fish fry on the river.

No distractions.
No noise.
No performance.

Just challenge, adventure, and brotherhood — the kind of shared experience that builds grit and creates memories that last.

This trip is intentionally small — about 12 men because real connection happens fishing the river and sitting around a fire, not in a crowd.

Fathers are welcome to bring sons (14+).
Give him something stronger than a screen. Give him a story. (My son and I go every couple months- the bonding experince is inexplainabke!)

If river conditions are unsafe due to dam release, we’ll reschedule for the following weekend (we can usually confirm a few days to a week ahead).

Hey FB family ! We have been running with these people for many years. We went to the leadership school in 2018!

If you have a heart for missions , this school will teach you practically, but also word and spirit. You will hear from some amazing men and women in the Faith. These are the true heroes laying their life down for the one and preaching the gospel to the nations. This is the real deal ! You’ll be super blessed and set on fire for the gospel. We are in awe of what God did in Mexico! 🇲🇽🔥
Sometimes when things shift unexpectedly, it’s actually a divine setup — positioning you to thrive in an even greater way.

These past few weeks have been filled with freedom, joy, and anticipation for what God is about to do in Fort Worth at Kaleo! 🙌
