We haven’t posted an update in a while, so I wanted to take a moment to share a little of what the Lord has been doing in our lives and in the different areas He has invited us into.
🌿 ABIDE WOMEN’S GATHERING
Back in January, we launched our Abide Women’s Gathering, meeting once a month. It has been such a beautiful thing to watch God bring women together from all different walks of life and denominations to grow spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, and relationally.
We have been especially encouraged to see women hungry for the Holy Spirit, hungry for God’s Word, and hungry to grow and be discipled. Watching the Holy Spirit move, heal hearts, and create genuine community has been such a gift.
🌊 MEN & THE BRAZOS
Ryan has had it on his heart to create space for men to get away from the demands and noise of everyday life and come together at the Brazos River—a place where they can encounter the Father’s love, have deep conversations, build brotherhood, and simply breathe.
He had his first men’s trip this year, and we’re looking forward to seeing what God continues to do through these gatherings. We’re hoping to have another one in the fall.
🏡 CHURCH IN OUR HOME
Every Sunday, we continue to gather in our home with a few families. It may look different than what many people picture when they hear the word “church,” but we have been experiencing something really beautiful in real-life discipleship—doing life together, raising our children together, learning to follow Jesus together, and creating space for families to grow.
đź’Ľ THE MISSION FIELD OF EVERYDAY LIFE
We are both working full-time and growing in our jobs and careers. And we’ve been reminded that the mission field isn’t always a stage, a pulpit, or a foreign country.
Sometimes it’s the person sitting next to you at work.
The conversation in the break room.
The person who needs encouragement.
The opportunity to love someone when nobody else sees.
We are learning to see our everyday lives as an opportunity to carry the presence of Jesus and share the Gospel wherever God has placed us.
❤️ A DIFFERENT SEASON
We’ve definitely been in a different season than some of the seasons we’ve shared publicly over the years. But honestly, it has been beautiful.
Some of the greatest works we’ve witnessed have not been big or flashy. They’ve been the deep artwork of the Holy Spirit—healing hearts, restoring people, breaking chains, bringing freedom, and teaching us what it really means to abide in Him.
So today, we’re continuing to lean into the Holy Spirit, love God wholeheartedly, and love the one right in front of us.
We don’t know exactly what every coming season will hold, but we trust that He does. And we know He will continue to guide our steps.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us, prayed for us, encouraged us, partnered with us, and walked with us through the years.
We are eternally grateful. ❤️
