With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Walter Rainwater — a remarkable Fort Worth leader, philanthropist, and friend to so many.

Walter’s generosity, vision, and dedication to education and community advancement left an extraordinary impact on Fort Worth and countless lives throughout our community. Fort Worth Colonial Charities was honored to know him as a steadfast supporter whose kindness and commitment to giving back embodied the spirit of our mission.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Rainwater family and all who loved him. His legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.
