Food. Clothes. Prayer. Love in action. 🤍

Today, our Matthew 25 Outreach had the privilege of meeting people right where they were—serving physical needs, praying over lives, and reminding people that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.

What may have looked like a meal, a bag of clothes, a bottle of water, a conversation, or a simple prayer to us could have meant everything to someone else.

That changed someone’s life today.

This is what it looks like to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Not just within the walls of the church, but out in our city, loving people the way He called us to.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink…”
— Matthew 25:35

We love our city. We love our people. And most importantly, Jesus loves them.

What a beautiful way to begin a new school year. 🤍

On Back to School Sunday, we gathered to worship, celebrate, pray, and speak blessing over our students, teachers, administrators, and families as they step into a new year.

From worship and prayer to jumping, dancing, laughing, and enjoying our church picnic together, it was a day full of joy, community, and reminders of God’s faithfulness.

As this school year begins, this is our prayer: May His presence go before you, behind you, beside you, all around you, and within you. May you know that He is with you in every classroom, every hallway, every challenge, and every new opportunity.

In case you missed Sunday, we kicked off RUTH — When God Is Writing a Story You Cannot Yet See. And if you’re in a season where you can’t see how everything is going to work out, this message is your reminder: God is still writing your story.

Here are the 10 takeaways from Sunday:

1. You don’t know how your story is going to end.
2. Famine will reveal what abundance does not.
3. Don’t leave the Word and the praise.
4. God never lets go of the steering wheel.
5. Naomi decides to go back.
6. Be careful what you connect yourself to in a famine.
7. The bounce back begins with a return.
8. Ruth meets her Redeemer.
9. Your bounce back can be better than your setback.
10. Your story is bigger than your current season.

No matter what chapter you’re in right now, the chapter is not the conclusion. Your famine is not your final chapter, your setback is not your identity, and your best chapters have not been written yet. God is still writing. God is still working. And your bounce back is on the way.
