To help residents stay cool and manage their electricity use during the summer, the City of Fort Worth's Community Action Partners, in partnership with Reliant Energy, has announced the Beat the Heat program for Fort Worth residents.

For the fourth year in a row, the City and the energy provider have teamed up to make summer heat more bearable for residents.

Residents can take advantage of cooling centers listed below where they can rest and cool off.

Additionally, they can request a cooling device to help beat the heat at home, while supplies last. Priority is provided on a first-come, first-served basis, with top priority given to vulnerable populations such as seniors, individuals with disabilities and families with young children.
