Yesterday, we had the opportunity to meet with Fort Worth Parks and learn more about the GreenPrint — the long-range plan that will guide park use and development in our city for the next 10 years and beyond.

We were encouraged to hear that the GreenPrint places strong emphasis on recreation, equitable access for historically disadvantaged communities, and better connectivity between parks and trail systems. This vision aligns closely with our hopes for the future of Buck Sansom Park.

We believe this plan, along with continued community advocacy and support through the upcoming bond program, can help bring meaningful improvements to our park.

There’s still a chance to make your voice heard!
Today at 6pm at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, Fort Worth Parks will present the GreenPrint again and invite public input. If you care about the future of Buck Sansom Park, we encourage you to attend and share your feedback.

This group is for anyone who wants to help restore and improve Buck Sansom Park. The park has been neglected for a long time, but by working together, we can make it a cleaner, safer, and more enjoyable place for everyone.

Our focus is on community clean-ups, advocating for improvements, and making the park a space we can all be proud of. Whether you want to help pick up litter, share ideas, or just stay informed, we’d love to have you involved.
