Sharing Stop Drowning Now Labor Day weekend is here. 🎉

Pools, lakes, and backyard gatherings — it’s one of the best weekends of summer. But drowning doesn’t discriminate. It doesn’t care how old you are, how well you swim, or how many people are around. It can happen to anyone, anywhere there’s water.

The good news? Layers of protection dramatically lower the risk. No single layer is enough on its own — but stacked together, they save lives.
🛟 Assign a water watcher — a sober adult, phone-free, with eyes only on the water the entire time.
🚪 Secure access points — fences, gates, and door alarms keep curious kids from wandering into water unsupervised.

One layer can fail. Multiple layers protect. Share this to save a life this weekend. 💙

💙 Early Giving Is Open!

North Texas Giving Day is September 17, but you don’t have to wait to make a difference.

When you support the Fort Worth Drowning Prevention Coalition, you help make water safety education and swim instruction accessible to children, adults, and families throughout our community.

Your gift helps us provide affordable swim instruction, life jackets, water safety education, and resources that give families the knowledge and skills to be safer in and around the water.

Every gift, at every level, moves us closer to a community where everyone has access to life-saving water safety education.

💙 Make your North Texas Giving Day gift early and help us continue creating safer swimmers and safer communities.
