So pleased to share that 4 Saints has been selected as a 2026 NBCUniversal recipient in the Dallas/Fort Worth market.

We’re honored to be among 80 nonprofits recognized across NBCUniversal’s 11 local television markets for the work we’re doing in our communities.

This grant will support 4 Saints as we continue creating opportunities for neighbors to connect with nutritious food, health resources, and one another—and as we continue listening and responding to what we see firsthand in East Fort Worth.

Thank you to NBCUniversal and NBC DFW/ Telemundo 39 for supporting organizations working alongside their communities to create meaningful local impact.

Friends,

Today is North Texas Giving Day, and I’m inviting you to invest in what’s happening at 4 Saints.

We are still doing the work at the heart of who we are: putting nutritious food on the tables of our neighbors.

And the need remains strong.

Over the past few weeks, our regular Friday distributions have served:

• Aug. 19–21: 208 families
• Aug. 26–28: 238 families
• Sept. 2–4: 261 families
• Sept. 9–12: 259 families

And this past Saturday, our separate appointment-only pantry served 43 families — the highest number we’ve ever served on a single appointment day.

But something else is happening at 4 Saints, too.

We’re listening to what our community is telling us it needs — and responding.

That means facilitating access to SNAP and Medicaid application services, bringing mobile health services into the community, convening resources and partnerships, expanding nutrition and health programming, and using what we see firsthand to advocate for the people we serve and contribute to conversations about the policies that affect our community.

Food remains at the center. But it is no longer the only thing we can offer.

We are building on the trust created through food access to connect our neighbors with other resources, services, and opportunities that can support their health and well-being.

That’s what makes this such an exciting time to invest in 4 Saints.

Your gift — whether $25, $100, $500, or more — helps us continue doing the work our community counts on us to do, while giving us the flexibility to respond when our neighbors tell us there is more they need.

Will you make a gift today — and share our Giving Day page with someone who should know about 4 Saints?

Thank you for believing in this work, in 4 Saints, and in the community we are privileged to serve.

Feeding Neighbors, Nourishing Community.

Tomorrow, September 17, is North Texas Giving Day — and thanks to a generous match, every gift to 4Saints & Friends Episcopal Food Pantry will be doubled, up to $1,000.

We wanted you to know why your support matters so much right now: the need in our community keeps growing. This past Saturday we served 43 families at our appointment-only pantry — a new record for us, in addition to serving 194 at our regular Friday distribution. With our Wednesday programs (Senior Boxes, volunteers, and asylum seekers) and our regular client-choice Friday pantry, and our Saturday appointment-only pantry, here's what recent weeks have looked like:

Aug 19–21: 208 families
Aug 26–28: 238 families
Sept 2–4: 261 families
Sept 9–12: 259 families

We haven't run our mobile pantry since May, but we're bringing it back on September 26 — and could serve 400 families that week alone.

Keeping our shelves stocked isn't cheap — this week alone we spent $600 on milk at Costco and $200 on bread at HEB, which is a pretty normal week for us (some weeks $400 on eggs too!). Our food costs have also increased with our foodbank partner in recent months (from .09 cents to .19 cents per pound).

Tomorrow, your gift can go twice as far. Will you give on North Texas Giving Day, and share our page with friends and family who might chip in too?

11%.

That’s how much the number of Texans facing hunger has risen over the past year—leaving 6.06 million of our neighbors in the Lone-star State food-insecure.

And here in East Fort Worth, we’re seeing what those numbers mean in real life.

Every month, 4 Saints Food Pantry provides nutritious food to more than 4,500 neighbors who are working hard to put food on the table.

Early giving for North Texas Giving Day is now OPEN, and we have a special opportunity to help us keep showing up for our community:

💙 A $1,000 matching gift is waiting to be unlocked.

Your gift helps us continue providing nutritious food to our neighbors—and when you give toward the match, your generosity goes even further.

The big day is September 17, but you don't have to wait.

Will you help us continue this work? Give today and help us feed our neighbors.
