Adoption changes how a kid's nervous system reads the world, and school can bring that right to the surface.

Enrolling your child. Understanding a 504 vs. an IEP. Advocating in a meeting where every acronym feels new. If you're an adoptive parent, school can come with a few extra layers, and you shouldn't have to figure it all out alone.

We made a 6-part video series to walk you through it: enrollment, evaluations, 504 plans and IEPs, trauma informed support, English Learner services, and advocacy that actually works.

This moment marked the beginning of adoption law as we know it today, with a focus on the best interests of the child. 💙
