Como Community Center

Como Community Center Youth have the opportunity to participate in after-school programs, summer camps, sports teams, and fun programs/events throughout the year such as FW@6.

The Como Community Center was built in 1970 and has provided various resources, events, and programs for the youth, adults and seniors that it has served for over 30 years. The Senior Center provides daily and weekly activities, field trips, and programs for citizens that our 60 and up. The entire family can enjoy various programs, events, classes, and workshops focused on health & wellness, sports & fitness, fine arts, hobbies, life skills, and college/career readiness. Among the many programs that Como Community Center offers, the center collaborates with Tarrant Area Food Bank for the Kids’ Cafe and Mobile Pantry initiatives. The center also provides assistance to low-income individuals through the Community Action Partners Program.
