Do you have Underground Storage Tanks (UST's), Above Ground Storage Tanks (AST's) or bulk storage tanks that need to be cleaned? Recently Sunbelt Industrial Services performed work at a bulk oil tank storage facility. We removed all excess liquids via vacuum truck, performed a properly permitted CSE (Confined Space Entry) to enter the tank and cleaned using a detergent to remove all residue. Once cleaned, the tank was hand dried using sorbent pads to ensure that the oil to be put back into the tank was not contaminated. Sunbelt recently worked a week of overnight shifts (7PM to 7AM) to pull (2) 20,000 gallon UST’s (Underground Storage Tanks). The tank hold was excavated, the tanks were cleaned to meet LEL requirements, the tanks were loaded for transportation and disposal.
