As Chair of the Historic Southside Neighborhood Education Committee, I cannot express enough how proud I am of our neighborhood association and the many community partners who continue to support our efforts.

We issued a challenge to our association and surrounding organizations to help ensure that students from Van Zandt-Guinn Elementary could participate in their upcoming field trip to San Antonio, Texas. I’m proud to share that several neighborhood association members and partner organizations stepped up and answered the call by adopting a student and helping make this opportunity possible.
Today Michelle Garris HSNA treasures delivered the last checks.
This is a true example of what community looks like—coming together to invest in the future of our children
