NOW AND THEN: ALAN HALE

Now:
I'm a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Fort Worth Fire Department. After spending several years at Station 24 in Handley (including responding to a few calls at our alma mater!), I now work in the Shift Commander's Office, handling daily staffing operations. I also stay busy with real estate and derivative investing—because feeding a family of six isn't cheap! 😄

Family:
My greatest passion is my family. My wife and I have been married for 28 years, and we're raising two young adults and two older teenagers.

Hobbies & Interests:
I'm always learning something new. Right now, I'm learning to play the pipe organ and working toward becoming conversational in Hungarian.

Something classmates might be surprised to know:
I've become a competitive athlete in obstacle course racing and trail running, earning 6 top-10 overall finishes and 13 age-group podium placements.

It's been quite a journey since 1995!

The Facebook says our Class of 1995 page needs more engagement, so I thought a fun “Then & Now” post series might be a great way for us to reconnect and catch up a little.

If you’d like to participate, PM and send me:

• A couple of current photos you’d like to share
• A few fun facts like:

what you do now
hobbies/interests
something classmates might be surprised to know
or anything else you’d like to share

I’ll put together a Then & Now feature post for the page. Can’t wait to see everyone!
