We're officially in October, which means we're less than two weeks away from Shooting with the Chefs on October 18th! It's the perfect time to get to know our featured chefs a little better! 🔥

​This week we have Will Rucker of Blue Flag Distillery in the spotlight! Rooted in West Texas with a Southern Louisiana mother, Will developed a unique perspective on hospitality he wanted to share with the world. Combining that passion with his engineering background, the distillery allows him to craft and share exceptional spirits right here with our Fort Worth neighbors! Fun fact: he spent five years living overseas in Malaysia and Dubai! ✈️🌍

Meet the w**eries joining us for this year’s Napa Valley W**e Experience. From familiar favorites to bottles you may be discovering for the first time, there’s a lot to look forward to.

And the best part? Each w**ery is represented by the w**emaker, proprietor, or estate principal behind the bottle. It’s the only event of its kind in DFW this year - an insider experience for w**e lovers, collectors and the Napa-curious alike.

There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make FWFWF feel effortless once the doors open.

Matt Hill is one of the folks who helps make that happen. 🍻

Originally getting involved as co-founder of HopFusion Ale Works to now volunteering as FWFWF’s Beverage Logistics Coordinator, Matt helps keep all the moving pieces and the pours flowing.

His favorite part of the job? Watching it all come together once the doors open.

This week we have Jenny Castor of Luckybee Kitchen in the spotlight! Learning to cook professionally was a gift from her family at 38 during a long period of illness and depression, giving her a renewed purpose, motivation, and healing through her culinary passion. Fun fact: she’s no stranger to marksmanship—she used to be a member of the R***e Club at TCU!💜
