Adera Foundation "Adera Foundation shares the Gospel in both word and deed transforming the lives of the poor with help and true hope."

Adera’s primary objective is to strengthen the family unit in the nation of Ethiopia. Poverty, disease, poor education, high unemployment and a variety of other socio-economic factors are destroying the family unit in Ethiopia. Our desire is to facilitate programs to meet basic needs and to promote self-sustainability among the neediest individuals. One key area of emphasis is assisting mothers with young children. By targeting this extremely vulnerable segment of the Ethiopian population, we hope to provide loving parents with the training and business opportunities needed to foster long-term success. Our feeding and preschool programs provide the children in these families with the assistance they need not only to survive, but thrive even in difficult circumstances. Adera works closely with government entities and village councils in order to ensure that our work is locally-supported and meets all national and regional regulatory standards.

When a mother joins Adera, she begins to see HOPE. ❤️

But for her child, everything is new, unfamiliar, and sometimes frightening.

Yet, this is where transformation begins! Fear turns into trust. Uncertainty turns into security. And little by little, hope becomes a reality.

We are beyond excited to welcome 68 new families into the Adera family! 68 families beginning a new journey filled with opportunity, dignity, and TRUE HOPE.

Character. Math. Language Arts. These were the academic priorities—but relationships are the foundation for true success.
By cutting our student-to-teacher ratios in half, our teachers were able to know their students, encourage them, meet individual needs, and create meaningful connections.
