Jesus stepped away at times for rest and renewal (Mark 6:31). We took a few weeks off, too. Tonight, Roca Kidz Club was back!

It was great to welcome back the Roca Kidz of 76119 and beyond. The evening brought crab-walk capture the flag, bingo, plenty of laughter, and the kids were reminded to follow Jesus at school as the sun set to close things out.

We're thankful for faithful volunteers like Glen and Lady, who showed up last night. We were also excited to welcome back Ally, a Fort Worth Christian alum now at Dallas Baptist University. She brought her roommate, Marit, too. And we're grateful to have had Christian, Gabe, and William from Eastland Church of Christ with us this evening.

Ally, thanks for the photos tonight. Next time we'll have to sneak one of you!

Want to serve with us? Come next Thursday, September 24, at 5:30 p.m. at Eastland Church of Christ, 3909 S. Edgewood Terrace. Help us serve these kids in the name of Christ.

We are so excited about the incredible turnout at Roca Kidz Club DFW this month! Seeing all of our kids, parents, and supporters come together again filled our hearts with joy.

Focus of the Month: Friendship 🤝
As we step back into the rhythm of community, our theme this month is Friendship. At Roca Kidz, we believe in teaching the next generation the true value of kindness, compassion, and uplifting one another.

Each of our Roca Kidz received their very own Roca Kidz Passport 📓. With every kind deed, act of service, or positive choice, they’ll earn a stamp! Kids who collect 50 stamps before Christmas break will get an unforgettable reward — a trip to a Dallas Mavericks game during Christmas break! 🏀✨

Thank You, Volunteers ❤️
A huge shout-out to our amazing Fort Worth Christian School student volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to serve alongside us. Your smiles, encouragement, and leadership set an amazing example for our Roca Kidz.

Stay tuned for more updates, and let’s keep stamping those passports!
