Jesus Healed a Child and a Man!!

This week we are learning that Jesus has power over sickness and healed 🩹many people to show He is God’s Son. Jesus also has power over sin and came to bring forgiveness, life, and hope to everyone who believes in Him. 🤍

Jesus Calmed a Storm ⛈️

Today we are learning how the disciples saw 👀 that Jesus has power over nature. He is the Son of God, the promised Savior. One day, Jesus would show His greatest power 💪—not by calming a storm, but by dying on the cross ✝️ and rising from the dead to save people from sin. Jesus saves everyone who trusts in Him. 🤍

🧠 Memory Verse: The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the word of our God remains forever. Isaiah 40:8

❓Big Picture Question: Is the Bible true? Yes, the Bible is true.

Jesus Taught about the Kingdom!!

This Sunday we learned that Jesus is the King 👑 who came to bring God’s kingdom to earth. Through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, He made the way for people to be part of God’s kingdom. When we trust 🤍 in Jesus, we are like the good seed in His field—we belong to Him, we grow in Him, and we will be with Him forever.

🧠 Memory Verse: The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the word of our God remains forever. Isaiah 40:8.

❓Big Picture Question: Is the Bible true? Yes the Bible is true.

🙏 Pray: Jesus, we praise You because Your kingdom is greater than everything else! Help us
know You as the King of kings. Give us the courage and the opportunity to tell others about
Your amazing love. Amen. 💛

📖 Follow along with us in Matthew 13:24-52; Mark 4:21-34.

Jesus Taught in Parables

Today we are learning about how not everyone who hears👂about Jesus believes in Him. Some people don't understand the gospel, and some people care more about the things of this world 🌎 than they do God's kingdom. But people who believe in Jesus and follow Him will grow to be like Him and will share His good news so others can believe too. 💛

📖 Follow along with us in Matthew 12:1-9, 18-23; Mark 4:1-9, 13-20; and Luke 8:4-15.

🤝 Family Serve 🤝

Decide as a family who you want to bless -- neighbors in need, a local food🥫pantry, a homeless shelter, or the children's ministry at your church. Plan a fun fundraiser to sell cookies, lemonade 🍋, bracelets, or other homemade items to raise money for the chosen cause. Involve everyone in the process, from baking or decorating, to handing our treats. Afterwards, talk about ways your family can continue to use your time, talents, and resources to bless others just as Jesus taught and how giving in this way brings lasting joy. 🤍

🙏 Family Prayer Time 🙏

Thank God for the ways He has provided for you, protected you, and blessed you. Thank Him for His love ❤️, care, and the eternal treasures He offers through Jesus. Praise Him 🙌 for being more valuable than anything on earth.

🎉 Family Activity 🎉

Create a treasure 🪎 hunt hiding small prizes, candy, or coupons for special treats around your house. Give each family member time to search and find the hidden treasures. Make it extra fun by giving hints or clues to find each prize or set a timer to see who can find the most treasures. After the hunt, gather together to enjoy the treats 🍬 and talk about how the excitement of finding hidden treasures reminds us of what Jesus said about His kingdom: that storing up treasures in God's kingdom -- through trusting Him, loving others, and following His ways -- brings true and lasting joy 💛 that never fades.
