For ten years, the Vampire Court of Dallas existed to prove that community, creativity, and compassion could thrive... even for those of us in the margins.

Since our founding in 2016, the Vampire Court of Dallas has raised over $83,000 in cash and in-kind donations supporting causes including domestic violence prevention, su***de awareness, veterans’ aid, animal welfare, children’s advocacy, and now… food insecurity.

We were never just events; we were a third space, a place of belonging for those who never seemed to fit anywhere.

We have been a reminder that even the darkest aesthetics can carry light.

To every volunteer, performer, venue partner, donor, and guest who walked this path with us: thank you. It has been an absolute honor to serve.

This is our curtain call. We're only a few hundred dollars away from our goal of making our final donation to the North Texas Food Bank $10K. We ask that you donate what you can, or simply share the message for others to know what we've done here.

While our organization is closing down, there are many great local leaders and direct-aid organizations still out there doing much-needed outreach and work.

One of the groups that we helped assist was Sandwich Sundays, who give direct aid to displaced people in Downtown Dallas. When you wish to give in ways that have the most direct impact, please think of them.

If you wish to help us meet our final donation goal for our ten years of operation, you can help us at paypal.me/vampirecourtofdallas

Due to an ownership transition with our financial institution, we are proud to announce that we were finally able to cut a well-deserved and long overdue check to an amazing direct relief 501c3 group, Sandwich Sundays. It was through your generous donations on Giving Tuesday (matched by Meta) that we were able to raise funds for their efforts in helping the displaced in the Dallas area, and we look forward to future collaborations with them.

Some of our most memorable nights weren’t just our Vampire Balls, but about the good that we could do together. Through our Casino Night events, we were honored to support organizations doing vital, often unseen work in our communities:

In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue and Educational Center is providing lifelong sanctuary and care for rescued big cats and other exotic animals.

North Texas Coalition Against Human Trafficking is working to combat human trafficking through education, advocacy, and survivor support.

The Turning Point offers crisis intervention, counseling, and healing resources for survivors of SA

Together, across our Casino events, our community helped us to donate over $6,000 in support of their work.

Different causes, different missions, but one shared purpose: coming together to assist those who need it most.

We want to take a moment to recognize one of the organizations that helped shape our journey from the very beginning... our Annual Toy Drive that we always voted on to support year after year: Hope's Door New Beginning Center. They provide critical support for survivors of domestic violence, including safe shelter, counseling, advocacy, and resources to help individuals and families rebuild their lives with safety, dignity, and hope.

In 2016, at our very first Toy Drive event at The Church Dallas and Panoptikon, we raised just $76 and a few bags of toys for the children. It was a small beginning, but it mattered. Over the years, with the support of our community, that impact has grown to over $11,600 in combined cash and in-kind donations so that children affected by DV can still have a good holiday season.

That’s what this has always been about: showing up, doing what we can, and building something meaningful together.
