Join East Lancaster Avenue property owners and stakeholders to discuss potential improvements in land use, new development and transportation along the East Lancaster Avenue corridor.

A virtual kickoff meeting for East Lancaster Avenue Corridor planning is scheduled for TOMORROW, 3:30-5 p.m. Sept. 24 via Webex.

Staff from the City of Fort Worth and Trinity Metro will present information – and seek residents’ ideas – about challenges and opportunities along the corridor, potential for new development and options for transportation improvements, including a planned bus rapid transit system in the East Lancaster Avenue corridor.

These discussions will inform near-term improvements and guide planning for future transit-oriented development along the corridor that could occur with bus rapid transit.

UPDATE: Ranger is home! Thank you to everyone in the neighborhood who helped look for him!

East Fort we need your help to get this puppy home for Christmas! His family just adopted him two weeks ago, so he does not know his new neighborhood at all yet. His fur parents are heartbroken.

They adopted Ranger after someone walking down the street shot and killed their other dog - who was in his own yard.

CALL 817-446-0669 if you see Ranger and ask for Tom or Eddie!

Historic Handley

The Historic Handley Development Corporation was formed in 1999 to help with the development and preservation of Handley. The HHDC puts on the Handley Festival each year on the second Saturday of October from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. The proceeds of the festival goes to fund projects to help beautify and preserve Handley. The Historic Handley Neighborhood Association was formed in 1998 when a group of citizens and business owners led by Doris Harrison joined together to improve Handley. The HHNA meets once a month on the second Monday. The meetings are from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and are held in the Fellowship Hall of the Handley United Methodist Church.
