We are thrilled to kick off highlighting our AMAZING TCU – Texas Christian University intern, Kierstyn! 🐸🎉

We’re so delighted to celebrate Kierstyn and her continued commitment to education, awareness, and making an impact in her community! 💜

Kierstyn has been a dedicated member of GSI’s Fundraising & Development team since 2025, and we’re continually amazed by her creativity, passion for serving others, and creating positive changes.

Although she is working hard studying abroad for the next several months, Kierstyn has made sure to kick off the new semester at the TCU campus by championing another education and awareness campaign focused on scams, fraud, and financial exploitation. Her campaign is now being shared throughout common spaces on campus to help equip fellow students and staff with the knowledge they need to recognize and protect themselves from financial harm.

Education is one of GSI’s core pillars, and we are especially excited to see young adult leaders like Kierstyn shining as advocates among their peers.

Thank you, Kierstyn, for continuing to use your many talents to make a difference—near and far. 🐸💜🌎

Happy Friday from the Aging in Texas Conference in San Angelo!

One of the best parts of the Aging in Texas Conference wasn't just the sessions; it was reconnecting with community partners who are making a difference every day for older Texans.

Our team is thankful to be surrounded by dedicated individuals who believe that collaboration is the key to preventing exploitation, strengthening services, and helping older adults age with dignity and security.

We're excited to announce that GSI has been selected as one of 40 nonprofit organizations receiving a $5,000 matching grant from The Morris Foundation in celebration of the Foundation's 40th anniversary!
