“Aisling" is an Irish word meaning "dream" or "to dream," and this incredible North Texas non-profit works tirelessly to turn hope into reality for human trafficking survivors and their families.

Founded right here in DFW by a local family following their own daughter's recovery from trafficking, Aisling bridges the critical gap in aftercare resources. They ensure that trauma-informed therapy, legal assistance, and recovery programs are never cost-prohibitive for victims taking back their lives. Beyond direct support, they advocate for essential legislative changes to protect children and empower communities.

Please hear from our good friend Alfonso Solis with Sendmedfw. Hear how he turned his own grief into personal mission - to find the lost. When our daughter was taken and missing (several times over!), she always knew we were coming - but, what about the cases where no one ever came?

A fundamental shift for me was when I met a sweet girl who told me "I ran when I was 14 - I was never found..." and those words changed how I do this work. Her teen years were lost to exploitation and a foster care system that never came looking.

Our DreamTeam Collective street outreach team goes directly to where the exploitation is; on the streets — building trust, offering supplies, and creating the first safe connection many survivors have had in years. That relationship-building takes time, consistency, and resources most people never see.

Rescue is the beginning. Aftercare is the work.

Once a survivor is out, the real work starts: stable housing support, case management, job readiness, life skills, and the day-to-day resources most of us take for granted — a working phone, a ride to an appointment, groceries.

$500 covers a month of wraparound aftercare support for one survivor — the case management, transportation, and basic needs that keep someone from falling back into crisis.
