On October 9, 2012, human friends of our best animal friends will have the opportunity to come together right where they live in hometowns across the United States and beyond. With a goal of substantially impacting widespread suffering and killing of dogs and cats, this connection is the first step in a powerful, united effort that is long overdue.
Thanks to the “brainy bunch” at Meetup.com, and their innovative Meetup Everywhere platform, we all can easily get in touch with others who share our feelings. It’s easy, too, to spread the word and bring others in to help create and participate in solutions.
K9Nation’s “K9National Day of Response” Meetups are informal gatherings organized and hosted by anyone willing to help bring about change. In real life, we will voice our concerns, explore solutions, and lay the groundwork for the first nationwide organization of local K9Nation units (Kommunities) dedicated to confronting the conditions that cause our best friends to suffer.
