Are you part of an outstanding student or pre-professional chamber ensemble? The Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth is excited to announce applications for our Emerging Artist Series!

This outreach program is designed to support the next generation of chamber musicians by providing the opportunity to perform for an engaged, knowledgeable audience in one of Fort Worth’s premier chamber music venues.

You've heard of Christmas in July🎄? Yesterday CMSFW brought residents of both jameslwestcenter and Trinity Terrace a Summertime Valentine ❤️❤️❤️! Guest artists Qiong Hulsey and Buddy Bray explored the evolution of the Romance from Beethoven, Schumann, Fauré, and beyond. Residents enjoyed a lovely program filled with beautiful melodies and lyrical gems.

In 2022, Bill served as our brilliant lecturer and musical guide for the Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth’s Beethoven Quartet Cycle. His profound insights, warmth, and unparalleled ability to bring Beethoven’s masterpieces to life left an indelible mark on our audiences and our community.

We are thrilled to announce that acclaimed flutist and dedicated music educator Kelly Herrmann is joining the Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth as our new Education Director!

Kelly brings both an incredible international perspective and a rich background as a seasoned chamber musician to Fort Worth. As an active performer with the Luna Nova Music chamber collective, she understands the intimate power of chamber music firsthand. She has performed across 13 countries and with esteemed ensembles including the Fort Worth Symphony, Dallas Winds, and Memphis Symphony Orchestra. Alongside her performance career, she is a passionate teaching artist dedicated to bringing music to students of all backgrounds.

This week we brought our Building Blocks of Music program to the North Fort Worth Boys and Girls Club and Camp Fort Worth Victory Forest. We had a great time playing, answering questions, and sharing our love of music with the campers!

CMSFW had a great time working with the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra at their inaugural summer camp! We talked about the collaboration, communication, and listening skills needed for high-level music making. Thanks for having us, FWYO!

Today, the Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth sends a heartfelt thank you to Natasha Costello, who recently stepped down as our Education Director.

Natasha’s CMSFW journey is a beautiful full-circle story. First joining us as a standout TCU student in our Learning with the Masters flute series with Demarre McGill, she grew into a highly skilled professional flutist who lead our educational programming for the past three years. As CMSFW President Michael Francis recalls, "I always called Natasha 'our star' after her performances--on flute of course, but especially after she did her narration." Alan Rauch, Education Chair, echoes this stating, "I especially appreciate Natasha's special talent for connecting and communicating with music audiences of all ages."

During her tenure, she significantly expanded our educational footprint. Artistic Director Gary Levinson notes we reached thousands of students through programs like Building Blocks of Music, adding, "Her demeanor and calm presence in the face of potentially stressful situations have always garnered my admiration."

Outreach Director Alton Adkins said, "Natasha's beautiful playing always inspired and fascinated the students. One FWISD student summed up our mission perfectly after hearing Natasha play by saying 'That's what I want to do!'"

We are profoundly grateful for the strong foundation Natasha built and the boundless energy she poured into our community programs. Please join all of us at CMSFW in wishing her the absolute best in her future endeavors.
