Self-Care Workshop: Choosing Joy, Confidence & Worth

The ladies explored what it truly means to take control of our emotions—not letting them control us, but instead making the powerful choice to operate in peace, happiness, and joy. Because the truth is, you do have a choice. And you are in control.

We dove into journaling as a way to express our feelings, speak affirmations over ourselves, and build the confidence to put us first. We reminded ourselves that self-care isn't selfish—it's necessary.

And let’s be real, sometimes a fresh set of nails, a little lip gloss, and a touch of makeup can make a girl feel unstoppable. But beyond the beauty, it’s about doing what makes you feel good, embracing what lifts your spirit.

At YWUC, we are here to uplift, empower, and equip young women with the tools to push through any challenge and celebrate every victory—big or small. We refuse to suffer in silence for the sake of someone else’s comfort. Because your happiness, your well-being, and your voice matter.
