Mentorship shapes a girl's future. And it creates the next generation of mentors.

The young woman pictured here is a participant in our Eureka! program who has spent years learning and leading through Girls Inc.

Now, she's paying that experience forward, helping a first-time STEM Saturday participant discover and build confidence in a new environment.

That's the ripple effect of mentorship.

When girls are supported, they don't keep those lessons to themselves.

They share them. They step into leadership. They help the girls coming behind them see what's possible.

As we prepare for Day of the Girl, we're celebrating the power of women investing in the next generation.

Join us on Sunday, October 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Grove at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden for our Her Voice Women's Panel, where accomplished women leaders, alongside a Girls Inc. young entrepreneur, will share their perspectives with our community and the next generation of changemakers.

Thirteen years later, the reason still hasn't changed.

These photos were taken at Day of the Girl in 2013, when girls and advocates gathered for a March on Main to celebrate International Day of the Girl.

This year, a new generation will come together for Day of the Girl 2026 at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden.

What began as a march has grown into a community celebration, but the heart of the day remains the same...
..creating space for girls' voices.

Do you know about our Girl Boss Summer Camps?

These are entrepreneurship camps for girl, and they're about so much more than starting a business.

We design our programs to help girls build confidence and skills they'll carry with them as lifetime leaders.

Girls get to practice developing ideas, solving problems, making decisions, and presenting their work to others.

What we love most is when girls have the chance to use those skills beyond the program itself.

That's why the EmpowerHER Marketplace at Day of the Girl is so special.

It's a chance for young entrepreneurs to step into a real-world environment and see what it feels like to put their learning into action.

Watching girls connect what they've learned with what they can actually do is what our work is all about.

For 28 years, Jennifer Limas has helped shape the future of Girls Inc. of Tarrant County through visionary leadership and a deep belief in the potential of every girl.

Nearly three decades of leadership is rare.

The impact of that leadership is even rarer.

Jennifer's leadership has helped position Girls Inc. of Tarrant County as a trusted resource for girls and families and a valued partner throughout the community.

The consistency of her leadership has earned the trust of generations of families and helped Girls Inc. of Tarrant County expand its impact across the community.

The girls she welcomed into Girls Inc. in 1998 are adults today.

Each carries a story that reflects the power of being seen and supported.
