On October 23, our LeadershipClass of 2026 immersed themselves in a powerful day of civic learning and community connection. Starting the morning in the Fort Worth Council Chambers, they heard from Councilmember Crain (LC17) and explored the inner workings of city government through a special “Snapshot of the City” featuring Assistant City Managers Jesica McEachern and Dianna Giordano (LC23).
After a tour of City Hall with Officers Owen and Travis and a group photo, the cohort traveled to the Boys and Girls Club North Fort Worth Campus for an afternoon of reflection and engagement.
Over lunch, participants joined in a Dialogue Café, diving into meaningful conversations around leadership and community change.
Boys and Girls Club leadership then provided an overview of BGC programs, including:
• Daphne Barlow Stigliano, Chief Executive Officer and President
• Susan Holmes, Chief Strategy Officer
• Matthew Sinclair, Senior Vice President of Operations (LC24)
• LaToya Greyer, Regional Vice President (LC25)
The cohort also had the opportunity to hear from the incredible London and Tyrell of the BGC Youth Council and tour the campus. This day was all about seeing leadership up close, and our LC2026 cohort showed up ready to lead!
Thank you to City of Fort Worth and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County for hosting our Civic Engagement Day!
