Its time for North Texas Giving Day once again. Early giving has already started and the actual date is SEPTEMBER 17, 2026. We had a rough year in 2026 with a huge loss of our miracle child Megg. From the streets, covered with mange, heartworm positivize and weighing only 40 pounds to the beautiful girl below. After Mutts & Mittens took her in she spent the next 10 years living like royalty. We will miss her forever. With your help though, we can create more miracles for the voiceless animals left behind. Join our village today as we continue our battle to save them all...one day at a time.

It is with a heavy heart and many tears I make this post. Our beautiful Megg, our mascot and M & M rescue alumi died from heart failure day before yesterday. Her daddy, Bill gave her a life of love and royalty treatment for 10 years. We will miss you Ms. Megg.
