This page is for members and supporters of the Fort Worth, (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.

We are a part of a national organization with over 16,000 civic-minded women. Founded in 1946, The Links, Incorporated is one of the oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry. The Fort Worth Chapter, The Links, Incorporated, comprised of talented, influential, service-minded women, has been a part of the greater Fort Worth community for more than half a century. Our chapter was founded in 1959 by ten friends who were passionate about strengthening the community in which they lived. We continue the traditions established by our charter members and build on the legacy they have left as we focus on enriching the lives of youth, women and men in our community. We are indebted to those who came before us and laid the groundwork for us to lead with excellence and serve with grace.

There’s something special about when the love, friendship, and legacy you pour into others comes right back to you. 💚

At our Second Annual Legacy Luncheon, we celebrated mothers and daughters within our Fort Worth Chapter, as well as daughters who have continued the legacy through membership in other chapters of The Links, Incorporated.

Together, their stories offered a beautiful reminder that legacy is not simply what we leave behind. It lives in the love we give, the example we set, and the women who carry it forward.

And when that love comes back? Well… Teddy said it best. 💚✨

We’re starting the year with purpose, possibility, and plenty of STEAM! 💚🔬✨

The Fort Worth (TX) Chapter kicked off its first program activity of the year with our September STEAM Academy, welcoming students in grades K–12 for a morning of hands-on learning, exploration, mentorship, and future readiness.

A special highlight was the launch of our first Dr. Me! activity, a Western Area initiative. Our 3rd–5th grade students participated in a White Coat Ceremony and explored the amazing human body, encouraging them to envision themselves in the fields of medicine, health, and science.

Across every grade level, students explored literacy, engineering, financial literacy, AI, mentoring, and more, all designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and open doors to what’s possible.

Thank you to our Sister Links, community partners, volunteers, and families for helping us begin the year with impact. We’re excited for all that’s ahead! 💚
