We are a part of a national organization with over 16,000 civic-minded women. Founded in 1946, The Links, Incorporated is one of the oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry. The Fort Worth Chapter, The Links, Incorporated, comprise

d of talented, influential, service-minded women, has been a part of the greater Fort Worth community for more than half a century. Our chapter was founded in 1959 by ten friends who were passionate about strengthening the community in which they lived. We continue the traditions established by our charter members and build on the legacy they have left as we focus on enriching the lives of youth, women and men in our community. We are indebted to those who came before us and laid the groundwork for us to lead with excellence and serve with grace.

The Fort Worth (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated was proud to participate in the Tarrant County Back-to-School Roundup, helping students and families start the year informed, inspired, and prepared for success.

Throughout the day, our members engaged young learners through hands-on STEM activities, shared books and literacy resources to encourage a love of reading, and provided voter registration, verification, and education resources for families.

From introducing students to robotics and coding to placing books in the hands of young readers, it was a day centered on education, empowerment, and community.

Wishing all students, families, educators, and school communities a successful school year ahead! 💚✨

Members of the Fort Worth (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated attended the Grand Opening and Inaugural Exhibition of the Fort Worth African American Museum and Cultural Center. This remarkable new institution creates a space to preserve, celebrate, and share the rich contributions of African American art in Fort Worth and beyond.

The inaugural exhibition, All ‘N All, inspired by Earth, Wind & Fire and presented in collaboration with the National Juneteenth Museum National Juneteenth Museum and Kinfolk House Kinfolk House, FW, beautifully reflects themes of unity, creativity, and collective progress. Congratulations to the staff and board for a successful launch and an inspiring vision for the future.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Dr. John L. Barnett, Chair of the Museum, and Dr. Arlene Barnett, alumna member of our chapter, on this incredible achievement.
