Only a few trusted law‑enforcement officers and caseworkers know of its location; there are no files, no public metrics, and no headlines, just people protected when they need it most.
This hidden sanctuary sits just 400 yards from the site of a major human‑trafficking bust this week that identified 31 victims, a sobering reminder of why this work matters.
