What is the mission of Music Mentors?

MMT is a music-based after school program offering free private music lessons and programs to kids with great potential but lack access or resources for similar opportunities. Music Mentors of Texas is a music-centric after-school program in Fort Worth, Texas that provides private music lessons, music enrichment and programs to children who have great potential, but may have limited opportunities

, access or resources. We are committed to helping build the confidence and character of children, exposing them to unique opportunities and creating a better life for them and their community. What do we want students to get out of our program?
*Quality instruction in music, including private instructions on their respective instruments or voices
*Help in school (tutoring) and help in life (mentoring)
*Exposure to all varieties of music and opportunities for life careers in music
*Opportunities to perform, travel and gain experience and exposure as a performer; attend music events and programs
*Better character and confidence in themselves to accomplish whatever they put their minds to
