What an incredible opportunity to support the future of Adult Protective Services!

The Tarrant County Adult Protective Services Community Board was proud to help bring together an Adult Protective Services training featuring a simulated trainee/client face-to-face visit at the Simulation Lab at Harris College of Nursing & Health Sciences at Texas Christian University.

This hands-on experience gave participants the opportunity to practice real-world interactions in a safe, educational environment, helping prepare them to better serve vulnerable adults with compassion, professionalism, and confidence.

A special thank you to Professor Brad Cannell, PhD, MPH, Eleanor & Murray Zoota Endowed Professor in Neurodegenerative Research, Associate Dean for Research, Co-Director of the Center for Neurodegenerative Disease, and the Department of Health Sciences and Public Health, for his leadership, collaboration, and commitment to strengthening the next generation of APS professionals.

Together, through education, partnership, and community, we are building a stronger network of advocates for vulnerable adults across Tarrant County.

What an incredible evening at Tarrant Together!

Our hearts are full as we reflect on the amazing support from our community. This event was about so much more than coming together,it was about shining a light on elder abuse awareness, supporting vulnerable adults, and strengthening the partnerships that make our community better every day.
