Why does it feel uncomfortable to shout in the presence of God?

You have no problem shouting at a football game. You have no problem expressing your emotions at a concert.

Is it really that you’re not expressive, or have you become more comfortable expressing your flesh than responding to His Spirit?

This isn’t about volume, it’s about what’s leading you.

A war cry isn’t just a loud noise. It’s a sound that comes from a spirit led by God; it’s a moment when your flesh comes into alignment with Who your spirit is responding to.

It’s time to discern the difference.

Maybe the process you’ve been calling death, emptiness, or pressure is actually preparation.

God is emptying what cannot carry His breath.
He is opening what has been closed.
He is shaping what He intends to use.

A prepared vessel is silent until breath enters it.
When God breathes into what He has prepared, the silence becomes a sound, and that sound becomes a war cry.

Don’t despise the process.

Jesus didn’t win the war with a sword. He won it with a War Cry.

“It is finished.”

What sounded like the end was actually the declaration of victory.
The strategy of Jesus was never earthly warfare. His War Cry released a spiritual victory that death itself could not withstand.🔥

"And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. The shofar didn’t begin as an instrument of war. It became one through a process of separation, emptying, opening, and shaping, until it was ready to release its sound.

Every stage brought it closer to its purpose.
