Calling all you would be Trunk or treaters. We are preparing for our Annual Como Halloween Spooktacular, but we need your help. We need people or groups who are willing to decorate a car or truck with a Halloween theme, have a game and have enough treats for 200 kids. If this is you call or text Carol Brown at 817-360-0951.
Let's continue to keep our Como Kids safe.

💜💛 COMO LIONS FILL-THE-BOARD FUNDRAISER — FINAL UPDATE! 💛💜

Our 2026 Fill-the-Board Fundraiser has officially come to an end, and we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who participated, purchased squares, donated, and shared our fundraiser!

🏆 CHEERLEADING RESULTS

Cheer Board #1 was successfully completed, with London Johnson taking home the $50 gift card!

Cheer Board #3 made it a little over halfway, while Board #2 also received support. Although neither board was completely filled, every square purchased still counted toward the Grand Prize!

💻 CHEERLEADING GRAND PRIZE WINNER

Congratulations to LONDON JOHNSON, who finished with an incredible 68 squares sold overall, earning her the Grand Prize — a brand-new laptop! 🎉

🏈 FOOTBALL UPDATE

All three football boards received support, but none were completely filled. We appreciate every football family and supporter who participated!

Although we didn’t fill every board, every contribution made a difference in supporting our Como Lions football players and cheerleaders.

From the entire Como Lions family, THANK YOU for your generosity, encouragement, and continued support of our young athletes! We couldn’t do what we do without our families, friends, and community.

We are beyond honored and excited that the College Dorm Kit Program was selected to represent Lake Como on the national stage.

While Como Lions Heart is proud to lead this program, this recognition is about so much more than our organization. It is about the Lake Como community. It is about our students who take that next step toward higher education. It is about the families who support them, the volunteers who give their time, the donors who believe in our youth, and the community that continues to invest in their future.

The College Dorm Kit Program was created to help ease the transition from high school to college by providing students with essential items they need as they begin this new chapter of life. More importantly, it lets our young people know that their community believes in them and is cheering them on every step of the way.

To have the opportunity to showcase this program nationally is truly special because it shines a light on the incredible things happening in Lake Como every day. It highlights the heart of our community, our commitment to education, and our belief that every student deserves support as they pursue their dreams.

This recognition belongs to every student who signed up, every volunteer who packed a dorm kit, every donor who contributed, and every person who continues to pour into the next generation.

Lake Como has always been rich in talent, resilience, and community pride. We are grateful for the opportunity to share that story with others.

Congratulations, Lake Como. This moment belongs to all of us.
