For the Love of Roses

The Fort Worth Rose Society is a non-profit gardening group serving the entire North Texas metroplex. The society started in September 1961 and is the premier rose society in North Texas. Our mission is to encourage interest in and cultivation of roses; to be affiliated with the American Rose Society, and to spread the love of roses whenever and wherever possible.

We usually meet the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. for social time. Meetings begin at 7 p.m. in the Camellia Room of the Fort Worth Botanic Garden Center, 3220 Botanic Garden Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76107. Please confirm meetings by contacting a board member for verification.

The society publishes an award winning, full-color, monthly newsletter, Rose Prose, with articles by certified consulting rosarians. We include news of our membership and full-color images of roses.

Our members are all about growing and showing the very best roses in North Texas. The FWRS sponsors a rose show each year in the spring.
