🎉 Honoring Our High School Visionaries! 🎉

Our Grades 9–12 BEAM Student Art Contest artists delivered inspiring works that reflect identity, resilience, and the power of bilingual voices.

Their art embodies this year’s theme — claiming space and reclaiming voice — highlighting advocacy, cultural pride, and the strength found in multilingual communities.

These students are not only artists — they are leaders, storytellers, and changemakers shaping the future.

Congratulations to Samira Iser Martinez on your outstanding art, "I'll do it if you can't!" 👏🎨
Samira says, "In this painting, I wanted to represent how we, as bilingual individuals, can communicate what others cannot say to those who cannot understand them, acting as a bridge between those landuages and “worlds.”"

🔥 Middle School Artists Raising Their Voices! 🔥

Our Grades 6–8 BEAM Art Contest students boldly captured this year’s theme, “Con ganas y con gritos — Claiming space, reclaiming voice.”

Through powerful visuals and meaningful messages, these young artists demonstrated how bilingualism connects communities, breaks barriers, and empowers advocacy. We celebrate their creativity, confidence, and commitment to sharing stories that matter. Keep creating and keep speaking up! 🎨✨

A special congratulations to Glennys Chacin Moran on her piece titled "Cutting Through Division." She says, "My artwork represents people reclaiming their voices and claiming space in a divided world. The scissors cutting through the flags symbolize breaking barriers and separating hate, borders, and division. The raised arms and diverse countries reflect unity, strength, and voices from everywhere being heard. The two figures at the top represent hope and action, reminding us that change begins when we speak with courage."
