What a night for WJA DFW!

Tonight’s Mix & Mingle at The Henry brought out so many parts of this industry: designers, bench jewelers, retailers, wholesalers, auction houses, advisors, and more. We love this part of the work. Watching a room like that come together is pure joy. A conversation over a drink turns into a referral, a hire, a new client, or a partnership that didn’t exist an hour before.

Thank you to everyone who came out tonight. If you missed this one, come find us at the next WJA DFW event.

Congratulations to one of our own! 💎

We’re excited to celebrate WJA DFW member Krista Cavanaugh on her recent national recognition from the Women’s Jewelry Association after being featured in Newsweek for sharing her expertise on the growing role of jewelry in America’s historic wealth transfer.

As the jewelry industry continues to evolve, professionals like Krista are helping families better understand the financial, historical, and emotional significance of their jewelry collections. It’s wonderful to see members of our chapter leading important conversations that elevate our profession.

Congratulations, Krista! Your WJA DFW family is proud to celebrate this recognition.

Be sure to check out WJA National’s feature! Link in comments.

You never know where you’ll bump into your fellow WJA DFW members… sometimes it’s Costco! 😉

A quick Costco run turned into a fun surprise when WJA DFW members Shawn Hall and Krista Cavanaugh crossed paths in the aisles. It was a great reminder that the connections we make through WJA don’t end when an event is over. They become part of our everyday lives.

If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved or are curious about meeting other jewelry professionals in the Dallas-Fort Worth community, this is your invitation.

Join us for our WJA DFW Happy Hour!

📅 Monday, August 10
🕓 4:00 - 7:00 PM
📍 The Henry, Dallas (in the bar)

Whether you’re a longtime member, new to the industry, or attending your first WJA event, it’s a relaxed opportunity to build relationships, exchange ideas, and expand your network.

Who knows? The person you meet over appetizers today might be the familiar face you bump into tomorrow… at Costco, a trade show, or somewhere completely unexpected.

We’d love to see you there! 💜
