Making A Difference One Animal At A Time
Our mission at Urgent Animals of Fort Worth, Inc. is to be the voice of the lost, abandoned and broken animals of Fort Worth Animal Care and Adoption Center and in the Fort Worth community.
UAFW, Inc. was officially founded in 2017, but our story began many years before. We started as a page for networking the sick, injured, and otherwise unwanted shelter pets at Fort Worth Animal Care and Adoption Center. Over time, we grew our efforts into community outreach, pulling sick or injured animals off the streets of Fort Worth and giving them the care they need to survive. While we’ve had tremendous success helping to find adoptive homes or fellow rescue organizations to save hundreds of pets every year, we wanted to do more; to save more animals. That is why we became a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization so we can do just that!
