We’re Hiring: Director of Programs

Create + Collaborate is looking for a Director of Programs to lead the heart of our work.

Reporting to our CEO and leading our Program Team, you’ll shape, deliver, and grow programs that make a measurable difference in the lives of young people as they transition into adulthood — including Fit for the Future, Next Level Leadership, Create College, Legacy Leaders and our annual Conference.

This role goes beyond program oversight. You’ll engage directly with funders, cultivate new partnerships, and help build the infrastructure that lets our programs scale their impact.
We’re looking for a mission-driven leader who:
✅ Believes in young people’s strengths and potential, not just their challenges
✅ Loves building great teams and designing great experiences
✅ Knows how to turn vision into measurable results
✅ Is ready to grow funder and partner relationships that fuel our mission

There have been shifts in education, in life, and in the world since the inception of Create + Collaborate. But through it all, our mission has remained the same: creating opportunities for students transitioning into young adulthood through mentoring, leadership training, and life skills to achieve academic, personal, and career success.

We’re so grateful that TCU chose to tell our story through a documentary last year, capturing the voices and experiences of the students who make this work what it is.

And we can’t wait to continue sharing our mission and our story with the world.

Because first-gen stories deserve the spotlight. They deserve to be seen, celebrated, and told all over the world.

We believe that in order to lead, you must first be willing to serve.

This year, we added a community service experience to Create + Co CON, giving our students the opportunity to put leadership into action. Together, they walked across the street to Van Zandt-Guinn Elementary School, where they helped prepare classrooms for the first day of school and made care packages wrote encouraging letters for teachers as they prepared to welcome students back.

Leadership is not only about where you are going. It is also about how you show up for the people around you.

We are proud of our students for serving with care, intention, and joy, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support our neighbors.

First gen students deserve to SOAR!

What used to be a ceiling, was turned into a floor at Create + Co CON. We didn’t wait for conditions to be perfect. We worked with what we had until it became something no one expected.

Create + Co is what the world didn’t see coming. Leaders are being built and soaring into young adulthood.

Create + Co CON 2026 was where the blueprint was created and the crew was assembled. Because a blueprint without a crew is just a piece of paper.

First generation. First of many. STILL RISING.
