The 2026 Roundup for Autism Kickoff was the perfect start to another season of showing up big for the Autism Treatment Centers of Texas! Huge thank you to our committee members, partners, and everyone who came out, raised a glass, shared the mission, and helped us build momentum for what’s ahead!

Another huge thank you to Cowtown Coliseum for welcoming us out for an incredible PBR Showcase event! We’re grateful for partners who continue helping us kick off each Roundup season in true Fort Worth fashion. 🤍

Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country. Their sacrifice created the freedom we gather in, build community through, and carry forward every day.

As we spend time with family, friends, and the people we love this Memorial Day, we honor those whose courage made those moments possible.

From all of us at the Bobby Norris Roundup for Autism, thank you to the heroes we remember today and the families who carry their legacy forward. 🇺🇸

Behind all the lights, music, and celebration is something deeply important: families finding support, individuals finding opportunity, and a community showing up for one another.

The Bobby Norris Roundup for Autism is more than a rooted tradition. It’s a reminder that meaningful change continues to grow when people come together. 🤠

As individuals with autism grow into adolescence and young adulthood, their needs evolve. Families and individuals are asking for stronger support in areas like community engagement, life skills, and employment readiness; tools that create real pathways to independence and connection.

But too often, these supports are limited, inconsistent, or difficult to access. Building a system that truly supports individuals across the lifespan means investing in what comes next. Helping young people not just navigate the world, but find their place in it.

Opportunities start with the people who provide the care!

The recent Countywide Needs Assessment identified workforce stability and capacity as a key opportunity for our community. Behind every service is a provider; and when those providers lack support, training, or long-term stability, families feel the impact through delays or disruptions to their care.

Strengthening the workforce means investing in training, improving retention, and building a system where providers are equipped to show up consistently and effectively. Because when we support the people delivering care, we strengthen the care itself.

Celebrating the one and only First Lady of Roundup today ✨

A true cornerstone of this mission, she brings grace, heart, and just the right amount of charm to everything she touches! From championing the Roundup for Autism to making a statement (as seen in this iconic throwback moment), she embodies and drives the spirit of Roundup in every way.

Happy Birthday to a woman who does it all, and does it beautifully! We’re so thankful to celebrate you 🤍

Throughout this month, we have touched on how families and individuals have expressed that navigating autism services can feel fragmented, unclear, and difficult to move through. What does this mean? It means getting help often depends on finding the right entry point at the right time, rather than having a clear, coordinated path forward.

When systems don’t communicate with each other, families become the coordinators and caretakers. They carry the burden of referrals, waitlists, approvals, and next steps; often while also managing the day-to-day needs of their child.

A truly responsive system is connected, coordinated, and easy to navigate. So families can spend less time trying to access support, and more time receiving it. This is where community support and advocacy becomes vital.

While services exist, they are not truly accessible when access is shaped by insurance coverage and the ability to pay out of pocket. For many, support isn’t determined by need, it’s determined by resources.

That’s not a system built for everyone.

Creating real access means ensuring services are available, affordable, and accessible. So every individual has the opportunity to receive the support they need.

A diagnosis should be the beginning of the journey for many, yet it remains the gatekeeper to care. Because most services require a formal diagnosis, families are often left waiting 6 months to 3 years without access to the very support their child needs. Time that can mean missed progress and added strain on families navigating an already complex system.

We can, and must, build pathways that support families earlier, more clearly, and without barriers.
