Happy Monday! Noah, our Country Director in Zambia, tuned in to give y’all this week’s prayer requests:
🤧🤒: It seems like everyone we know is fighting off some sort of cold lately and unfortunately the same goes for our sweet kiddos in Zambia. Quite a few of our students are feeling under the weather due to flu season, and our staff is seeing a small outbreak in our schools. We’re asking for prayers for them to stay strong and healthy. Please pray for speedy recoveries so they can continue to attend school in good spirits.
❤️🩹🏥: Our next prayer request is for our lovely teacher Angela who has cancer. Medicine in Zambia is very difficult to come by and battling a cancer diagnosis often requires testing out different kinds of treatments to find one that works. Teacher Angela is beginning to test out another kind of treatment with the hospital in hopes of controlling the cancer. Please pray that the Lord comforts her during this time and gives her the strength to continue to fight cancer. Thank you so much for keeping her and her loved ones in your prayers.
📦🇿🇲: Thirdly, we have exciting news. The shipping container you all worked so hard to fill by donating Swag Bags this past spring is set to arrive at our complex this week! Despite some delays and hiccups along the way, our Zambian staff is getting ready to offload the container in the coming days and we couldn’t be more thankful that it’s almost here. God willing, it’ll arrive safely and the gifts will be in the hands of our students by the holiday season. Our favorite part is seeing pictures and videos of everyone opening up their gifts! Stay tuned for updates.
