Freeway Fort Worth launches this fall at .church, every Thursday evening. And we want local churches and organizations alongside us.

That might look like committing to serve one Thursday a month — meals, worship, greeting, and more. Or giving to help us get started. There are lots of ways to plug in.

For our friends at Hallmark Church who may not have seen this post - Pastor Jon was in Springfield this weekend for the official send-off of Michael & Stephanie Deckard.

After a week of serving and being celebrated and prayed for, the Deckards are now en route, back to Fort Worth -- and we are so ready to have them here with us full time and get Freeway Fort Worth started!

Springfield is sending them off — and Fort Worth is just getting started. This Friday night, our very own Michael and Stephanie Deckard will be commissioned out from Freeway West to launch Freeway Ministries right here in Fort Worth.

Our own Pastor Jon will be there too, bringing the message and standing alongside them as part of this journey — a beautiful picture of Hallmark Church and Freeway West coming together to send them out. What began as obedience to God's call in one city is about to become a whole new beginning in ours.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the Freeway West family and everything they've poured into Michael and Stephanie to get them here — and we can't wait for you to see what's next. This is just the beginning. 🙏💙

This morning, we were in need of volunteers for our Get Clean Shower Trailer Ministry. John put out a simple post asking if anyone could come serve alongside us.

Corporal Justin with the Springfield Police Department answered that call.

Sometimes law enforcement gets a bad stigma, but today Justin was right here with us—scrubbing showers, serving our guests, and showing genuine compassion for our community. He didn't come to be recognized; he came to serve.

We want to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to Corporal Justin and the Springfield Police Department for caring about our city and for partnering with us to love and serve those in need. Acts of kindness like this remind us that when we work together, we can make a real difference in the lives of others.

Thank you for standing with us and with our community. We appreciate you more than words can express.

Who we are, what we do, and the story behind the ministry coming to Hallmark Church — a gospel-centered mission reaching men and women impacted by addiction, incarceration, and life-controlling struggles with hope, healing, and a second chance.

Freeway does this through outreach, evangelism, and discipleship — bridging the gap between the recovery community, the unchurched, and the local church, one broken life at a time.

Michael and Stephanie Deckard have faithfully served with Freeway Ministries in Springfield, Missouri, and have now answered the call to become Directors of Freeway Ministries Fort Worth. They carry a deep burden for restoration ministry and a sincere love for people who need hope, healing, and a second chance.
