As we kick off the 2026–2027 school year, the North Texas Knights want to wish all of our athletes an incredible and successful school year!

Remember, the hard work you put in inside the classroom is just as important as the work you put in on the field. The discipline, commitment and determination you develop as a student will help set you up for success in your future endeavors.

Stay focused.
Stay determined.
Be respectful to your teachers and classmates.
Give your best effort every day.

And most importantly—remember, school always comes first! 🎓

To those stepping into their freshman year and preparing for your first high school season, this is an exciting new chapter. Remember that the little things matter. Work hard, play harder—the work never ends.

Last night, the North Texas Knights family came together to celebrate and recognize the incredible accomplishments of our athletes from every baseball and softball team. It was an evening filled with pride as we honored players for their hard work and dedication with awards such as MVP, Gold Glove, RBI Leader, and many more.

One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was presenting The Heart of Brytni Award to one athlete from each team.

The Heart of Brytni Award is presented in honor and loving memory of Brytni Elliott, a woman whose strength, selflessness, and unwavering spirit touched everyone around her. This award recognizes the athlete who embodies the qualities Brytni lived every day: putting others before themselves, working relentlessly, competing with heart, and facing adversity with courage and grace. May this award always serve as a reminder that true greatness is measured not only by talent, but by character, compassion, and the positive impact we leave on others.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our athletes, parents, siblings, family members, and coaches for making this evening so special. Your support, dedication, and commitment are what make the North Texas Knights more than just an organization—we’re a family.

To those athletes who are wrapping up their youth sports careers and beginning the next chapter in high school this fall, we wish you nothing but success. Continue to work hard, lead by example, and never forget where your journey began.

We are excited to announce another opportunity for our players to learn from the coaching staff at UT Arlington this fall!

Over the years,we have built a great relationship with Tyler Rice, Assistant Baseball Coach at UTA, and he’s once again agreed to host a private camp for our organization.

Tyler Rice is a native of Mesa, Arizona, and graduated from UT Arlington in 2023 after completing a five-year playing career with the Mavericks. During his collegiate career, he appeared in 150 games with 107 starts, recording 90 hits, 39 RBIs, and 60 runs scored while demonstrating the versatility to play multiple infield positions.

Joining Coach Rice will be Cameron Rupp, former Philadelphia Phillies catcher and current Assistant Coach at UTA. This is an incredible opportunity for our players to receive instruction from two coaches with outstanding collegiate and professional baseball experience.

Our Athletes will receive instruction in:

* Infield Defense
* Outfield Defense
* Hitting

This has been an outstanding camp in the past, and we are looking forward to providing another great developmental opportunity for our players. I hope to see all of our teams represented!

As an organization, we love recognizing and celebrating our players for their accomplishments both on and off the field. But today, we’re shining the spotlight on the people who dedicate countless hours behind the scenes—the coaches who invest their time, energy, and hearts into developing our athletes.

As we kick off the Fall 2026 Season, we’re proud to introduce our Coach Spotlight Series, where you’ll get to know the incredible individuals who make the North Texas Knights family so special.

First up: Coach Mark Ford – 10U Softball

With more than 13 years of experience coaching youth athletes across multiple sports, Coach Ford brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and leadership to every team he coaches. His extensive coaching background is matched by a lifelong involvement in athletics, having competed in multiple sports throughout his youth and beyond.

Among his proudest athletic accomplishments are being named Athlete of the Year three times and setting the record for the fastest shuttle run with an impressive time of 3.01 seconds.

Off the field, Coach Ford is a devoted father of three wonderful children and a loving, loyal partner. While he is passionate about developing athletes’ skills and confidence on the field, he takes even greater pride in serving as a positive mentor and role model in their lives beyond the game.

When he’s not coaching, Coach Ford enjoys building hot rods, staying active through fitness, and making lasting memories while traveling with his family.

Due to recent news that one of our players is nursing an injury the entire fall season, Our 14U AAA roster is looking to add a few competitive ballplayers to complete the squad as we prepare for a championship-caliber Fall season.

We’re currently looking for:
⚾️Catcher
⚾ Second Baseman
🔥 Pitcher(s)

We’re searching for athletes who are:
✔️ Self-driven
✔️ Competitive
✔️ Coachable
✔️ Willing to leave it all on the field for their teammates

Our goal isn’t just to build a Fall team—it’s to keep this core together into the Spring and make a serious push for Majors.

💪 What to expect:
• Practices begin August 1st
• 2 practices per week
• Minimum of 2 tournaments per month
• Player development in a competitive, team-first environment
• Indoor training facility for year-round development
