HELP TEXAS PARENTS SAVE LIVES!!

It is inconceivable that in Texas, the largest border state in the nation and the center of the border and Fentanyl crisis, Fentanyl Test strips are still illegal.

Texas Against Fentanyl TXAF and The Tucker Project are in need of signatures on a digital petition asking governor Greg Abbott, Attorney General Ken Paxton, and the House and Senate to pass legislature to legalize testing strips. SHARING IS CARING: Don’t forget to join & attend the NTX Overdose Awareness Day tonight!

Only 2 more hours! They will be returning for their 5th year to the Lawn of the Denton Courthouse on the Square on Saturday, August 31, 6:30 p.m.

This free event is a passion project that strives to reduce the stigma of overdose and hopes to end opiod overdose. 300+ Americans die EVERY DAY to opiod overdose. We are here to educate, we are here to support, and we want to remember loved ones taken by this terrible epidemic!

Each year, we have some amazing and inspiring speakers. Our incredible sponsors and resource providers bring so much to this event; both in goodies and fun games but their information is invaluable! Be sure to take some time to stop by every table!

It's official The CCP Chinese Communist Party is responsible for the fentanyl crisis. We thought this for many years, but The Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party confirmed it at their hearing.

Andrea Thomas joins Ask Mary Mac in this week's episode to share her story in the “Death by Fentanyl” podcast series.

Andrea Thomas is the mother of Ashley who died of fentanyl poisoning, creator of Facing Fentanyl National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day August 21 that happens each August 21st.

They discuss the findings of the China Select Committee on April 16th in the House of Representatives in DC and share the confirmation that the CCP is intentionally manufacturing fentanyl and shipping it through Mexico into the US killing 76,000 of our children in 2022.

For perspective, according to National Archives, between 1955-1975, over 58,220 men and women were killed in the Vietnam War - a 20 year period.

It is estimated that in 2023 more than 100,000 young people in the US were killed by fentanyl in counterfeit pills or added to ma*****na, co***ne, he**in, and other street drugs with either partial or complete fentanyl.

Pills that resemble Xanax, Oxycotin, Adderall, Percocet and others are killing our young people within minutes because all these are counterfeit pills and that person has no idea what is in them.

Please, please educate yourself and your family.

Today is International Bereaved Mothers Day and we send our love to all the brave mothers grieving their babies.

International Bereaved Mother’s Day is observed the Sunday before Mother’s Day in the United States. This year it’s today Sunday, May 5, 2024.

What is INTERNATIONAL BEREAVED MOTHER’S DAY?

Every year on the first Sunday in May, International Bereaved Mother’s Day honors mothers who have lost a child.

One of the hardest days for many women around the world is Mother’s Day. These women suffer greatly on this day because they have lost a child. It’s also a day to recognize women who cannot be a mother due to infertility or other health reasons. One of the hardest days for many women around the world is Mother’s Day.

According to psychologists, losing a child is one of the worst traumas a human being can experience. When a child dies, a mother loses a piece of her own heart. Not only that, she loses all that she looked forward to in seeing that child fulfill their potential.

Besides suffering psychologically and biologically, mothers face a host of other challenges. They might mourn the loss for many years. They may experience triggers from well-meaning questions like, “how many children do you have?” Or, “How old are your children now?” According to studies, mothers who lose children are more likely to suffer from physical and mental health issues. If the grief is unresolved, it could turn into a serious illness, like cancer and immune disorders.

For these reasons, it’s imperative that mothers that have lost children seek help. Joining a support group with other bereaved mothers can be especially helpful which is why was founded to bring us all together. A bereaved mother will never again be able to hold that child in their arms. But they will forever hold that child in their heart.

All of the bereaved moms in NTXFC will be keeping each other in our thoughts on International Bereaved Mother's Day, as we remember the mothers, moms, mommies, mums, and all whose child or children are gone too soon.

Well you should come out to our Community Outreach event tomorrow this Friday to hear & see real stories of just innocent babies, or teenagers or adults trusting their bffs or friends or coworker either dying or becoming addicted unknowingly to Fentanyl.

Well the silent killer is & has been here and you should be APALD at the numbers here locally in DFW & throughout Texas!

Among Tarrant County residents, there were 95 Fentanyl-related deaths in 2020 (preliminary data), there were 143 fentanyl-related deaths in 2021 (preliminary data), 173 fentanyl-related deaths in 2022 (preliminary data), and 172 fentanyl-related deaths in 2023 (preliminary and partial/incomplete data).

Also did you know in 2023, there had been nearly 2,500 overdoses in Tarrant County, many from fentanyl, according to Fort Worth Police Department. Overdose deaths in Texas involving fentanyl rose from 891 in 2020 to 2,189 in 2022, according to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services.

COUNTDOWN BEGINS LESS THAN 2 hours away!! Come out and Join all of us as we support Livegy Foundation45, and Texas Against Fentanyl - TXAF Dallas-Fort Worth for a celebration of life through music and community.

This is a multi-band, multi-venue event, all along the same strip of N Market Street in Dallas. This will be a day of fun, education, and awareness that the entire family can enjoy. There will be something for everyone, so please come on down and support the community in creating a safer, more vibrant Texas.

We encourage people to purchase tickets in exchange for a $10 donation, $5 for children. Ticket sales will cover the cost of the event as well as fund fentanyl education, initiatives and mental health resources.

The event is hybrid indoor and outdoor so rain or shine this event is happening! The only uncovered areas are the spaces between the venues and patios.
