Saturday’s meeting was all about zipper pockets and drop in linings. Quita Farley shared information about stabilizers that are useful in bag making. Then she demonstrated how to easily build a zipper pocket in the lining. She finished things up by showing how to easily attach a drop in lining in a simple tote bag

With heavy hearts, we are sharing the obituary and funeral arrangements for Jo Spencer. She had been very involved with our guild for quite a few years. Her tenacious spirit will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

The Rocky Mountain Leather Trade Show and World Leather Debut just finished up. There were many extraordinary entries and Takeshi Yonezawa was selected as this year’s Al Stohlman Award recipient. If you have never been, it’s worth the trip.
