🌊 July’s Spotlight Animal: The Hellbender! 🦎

North America’s largest salamander spends most of its life walking along rocky river bottoms on its tiny feet. Their wrinkly skin helps them breathe, and they’re mostly active at night hunting crawfish and fish.

Wild hellbenders rely on clean streams and large rocks for shelter, so if you’re exploring a creek, leave the rocks where you found them! 💙

The Fort Worth Chapter of the American Association of Zookeepers (AAZK) is teaming up with the International Iguana Foundation for a day of fun, education, and conservation at Hop & Sting Brewing Company in Grapevine!
