Getting ready for the Youth Pride Picnic and got this sweet reminder from Cookie Whipped. ❤️

For the past three years, Mandi has been so deliciously generous to the youth and volunteers in our programs. From custom pronoun cookies to edible mix tapes, we are forever grateful for the team that treats our constant sweet tooth.

🎓 “This past year was so incredibly meaningful to me.”

Barrett, a recipient of the LGBTQ SAVES Scholarship, used scholarship funds to support their studies at UNT, grow produce for the campus food pantry, create art through the Printmaking Association of North Texas Students, and experience new opportunities like attending the Dallas Opera for the first time.

This , help us fund more scholarships for LGBTQ+ youth pursuing college, university, and trade school. Every donation helps students like Barrett thrive, lead, and build community. 💖🌈

Mental health is a marathon, not a sprint. ✨💪

You don't need to have the perfect wellness routine; start small day-by-day by taking some time for yourself. Go on a walk! Have tea at a local cafe. Make something special for lunch, just for yourself!

Or, come meditate with us. 🧘‍♀️

Join us every third Thursday at Finn's Place as Priestess Rain leads our youth in a holistic wellness practice meant to ease the mind and soothe the senses. This event is open to youth and families, as well as volunteers to come together in mindful meditation!

Hey friends!

We know we’re asking a lot this week with daily voting on My Giving Circle. However, we can’t pass up on the opportunity to preserve q***r characters in some of our favorite shows. Especially some of the shows our youth excitedly talk about when they get together in our spaces.

Q***r characters, especially transgender and nonbinary characters, do not pose a threat. They are safe to be seen on TV, just as LGBTQ+ people are safe to be seen in schools, at work, and at the grocery store.

🚨 Fort Worth, we need your help this week. 🚨

LGBTQ SAVES has a chance to receive a share of $2.5 MILLION in grants and donations through My Giving Circle, but we need daily votes from our community to get there.

We are a volunteer-powered organization that relies on community support to provide free programs, events, leadership opportunities, scholarships, and safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth across our area. Every meeting, event, and program happens because people in this community choose to show up for young people. 🌈

A grant like this could help us continue and expand:
💙 Free youth programming
💙 Community events
💙 Scholarship opportunities
💙 Volunteer-led support spaces
💙 Resources for LGBTQ+ youth ages 12–24
